Shot the summer was held last month in Barcelona, opposing four photographers. It has with this 3rd edition, managed to expand itself internationally. Amateur photographers from all over the world were present; turning it into an international competition which we’re definitely more than glad to be the proud sponsor at LookBook360. Andrea Vidal reports.
The great thing about working out of a city like Barcelona is primarily the lifestyle – bringing multitudes of global nomads like myself to live here…
The appeal of a city like Barcelona is namely due to its cultural and strong manufacturing base in textiles – which obviously helps us generate a lot of visibility. In turn, we use this to generate brand appeal for the brands that SHOT photographers choose to dress up their muses. For this edition, the leading swimwear brand Seafolly was definitely the star but the pool of Hotel B; right in the bustling centre of Barcelona was a pretty close second.
A special thanks to the following 4 photographers whose name appears below the photo they presented for the contest on the day with a brief description:-
By Antoni Sans (Photographer) with Montse Roura (model) – Dégradé chic
By Pablo Perdomo (Photographer) with Nuria Rosell (model) – Pierre & Gilles style
By Peer Van Der Weeg (Photographer) with Sara Llamas (model) – Scapattina e bagno di notte
By TokerNudeArt (Photographer) with Darlene Sza (model) – Winning photo
Bold Tribal geo print – Sport Luxe by the pool
Finally on behalf of LookBook360, a special thanks to the organisers Alessio Marcucci and Alex Staffa as well as Showroom 360 Iberia for the amazing fashion styling and the champagne which freely flowed or should I say: couler à flot. There you have it, don’t miss the next one!
